It's a night full of fashion for a good cause. Shoe Carnival's Walk the Runway was a huge success in Evansville tonight. Even Mayor Lloyd Winnecke and his wife got in on the runway fun modeling some athletic shoes. The shoe fashion show raised thousands of dollars for Vanderburgh County CASA.

CASA, which stands for court appointed special advocate, is a national program that trains volunteers to speak on behalf of abused and neglected children in the court system.

"Every model that is here on behalf of CASA," said CASA Executive Director Suzanne Draper, "is either a board member, a child we have served in the past, or a volunteer. In addition, we have Shoe Carnival also having models in the event, so it's been a wonderful collaboration."

Eyewitness News Julie Dolan and Laura Kirtley were the MC's of the big event. Organizers say they're already looking forward to checking out next year's fashions.
