They say it's a great dinner option and a great way to help out the community. Tumbleweed in Owensboro is hosting it's 7th annual Luau Fundraiser, where proceeds from food and drinks will go to the Owensboro Help Office.

The restaurant will offer a silent auction as well as some celebrity servers ncluding radio personalities and members of city government. They say it's important to give back to people in these tough times.

"Gas prices are up," said Tumbleweed General Manager Dan Schroader. "The economy isn't where we want it to be. But this shows you the heart of the community here in Owensboro. We're always here to help people when we can. It always comes back to you two-fold."

The event kicks off tomorrow at the restaurant on S. Frederica St. and lasts from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. tomorrow.
