An Illinois man charged with killing his estranged wife and her teenage daughter is sentenced to death.
The sentenced was handed down Friday in a White County courtroom.
37-year old Gary Pate was found guilty in the shooting deaths of 41-year old Kathleen Pate, and 16-year old Amanda Jeffers.
The women were shot multiple times in their Norris City home.
An execution date has been set for May 16th, but pates case will automatically be appealed under Illinois law
