The Bulldogs versus the Huskies, an age old rivalry in Evansville. But now the two teams are playing on a new turf. North High School, the football team can actually say it has a home game, the team is playing its first home-opener in its brand new house, Bundrant Stadium. Many at North say Husky pride runs deep but the dignity and honor was at an all time high as the school finally has a stadium of its own. There's no place like home, for North High School, the Huskies now have a home-field advantage. From alum, to students, to parents. There's pride and excitement in having a stadium on their own campus. There's a sea of green, and lively fans, as the Huskies take on the Bosse Bulldogs in their home opener. As the final pass is made and stands empty out, this is no longer where the Huskies play, home games are truly home games, and their new home is Bundrant Stadium. The final score is North 55--Bosse Bulldogs 33. North will officially dedicate Bundrant Stadium at a ceremony before the next home game on August 31st against Memorial.
