Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels is scheduled to sign the property tax reform bill into law Wednesday afternoon.
Daniels will be joined by House Speaker Pat Bauer and Senate President Pro Tem David Long for the ceremony in the statehouse rotunda.
House Bill 1001 provides a statewide average break on current year bills of about 30%, compared to 2007.
It also phases in tax caps on all classes of property.
The Indiana sales tax will rise to 7% starting next month.
Lawmakers reached an agreement on property tax reform late last week.
