FAMILIES AFFECTED BY FLOODING CAN TURN TO THE RED CROSS
Volunteers and staff will open shelter if necessary
Evansville, Ind. – Due to rising waters, the Southwestern Indiana Chapter is on standby to help families who may need shelter or other emergency assistance due to flooding.
If there are families who are forced to evacuate their homes, the Red Cross is prepared to open a shelter for them until they are able to return home. If a shelter is required, it will be located at the Southwestern Indiana Chapter headquarters at 29 South Stockwell Road in Evansville.
Anyone in need of assistance due to flooding should contact the Red Cross at 812-471-7200.
