breaking news
It was a not-so-good Friday for some Daviess County, Kentucky students.
Someone broke into Sister Mary Carrico School in Knottsville during the overnight hours.
The damage was so bad, they had to cancel school Friday.
The vandal, or vandals, broke windows and light fixtures and dumped several desks.
But most of the damage was done when they emptied a fire extinguisher and the heating and air conditioning system spread a superfine mist over the entire building.
It all dried into a nasty mess that will have to be clean up by professionals.
Nothing appeared to have been stolen.
