Owensboro Police Make Arrest in Two-Month Meth Fire Investigation

By: Chris Veech
Updated: October 4, 2012

An Owensboro man turns himself in for a meth fire investigation that's been going on for two months. The Owensboro Police Department arrested Kenneth Yarber, Jr. for manufacturing meth. Back in August, emergency response officials were called to a fire in the backyard of an apartment on J.R. Miller Blvd. They confirmed the debris was connected to a meth lab that was removed from the apartment after catching fire. Yarber left the scene before detectives were able to interview him.
