Holiday World Welcomes Visitors To "Happy Halloween Weekends"

Halloween has returned to Holiday World after a 25 year absence. Quite a ghostly transformation at Holiday World in Santa Claus. The park is decorated for "Happy Halloween Weekends" which premiered Saturday and continues on Saturdays and Sundays in October. If you want a fun and spooky experience, guests can ride a coaster at night and find their way through the corn mazes. Holiday World says it's been planning for this event since 2010.
"We're number one for family fun and we're doing the same thing with Halloween so we're not about gore, we're about having fun. So we got a trick or treat trail, a corn maze, hay rides, 3-D show, a laser light show that's awesome at the end of the night," Dan Koch said.
Some park guests got an extra treat Saturday. They had the opportunity to appear in a new Travel Channel special. "Halloween's Scariest Thrills" will air on the Travel Channel next Fall.
