The future of Roberts Stadium is again up in the air. Evansville City Council members voted to deny Mayor Lloyd Winnecke's request to transfer funds to the demolition budget. Six council members said no to moving $187,000 the auction proceeds towards demolition. They say they would like to see other options explored that could make the city money. They also have concerns about the up keep of another large park area.
