It seems the Fall weather is here to stay, and Winter is right around the corner.

On Wednesday, the chartible effort to keep Tri-State kids warm gets underway.  Don's Claytons annual Coat-a-Kid campaign will kick off at Highland Elementary School this afternoon.

This year, the program is asking for more infant and youth size coats, after running out of the small coats last year.

Coats can be donated at any Don's Claytons Dry Cleaning stores in Evansville and Newburgh until the end of the year.

The annual program started in 1986 and has given away more than 135-thousand coats to kids in need.
