Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office relaunched a program for teens who are interested in a career in law enforcement. Deputies hosted an open house tonight for the Law Enforcement Explorer Post at the Southern Indiana Career and Technical Center.

This Boy Scouts of America Program is an ongoing police academy-style experience that familiarizes young adults with how the department operates. Many of the lessons will include hands-on components that give the teens a chance to practice what they're learning about. The program is open to men and woman ages 16 through 20.
