Reitz Hill "R" Vandalized Before Friday's Football Game

By: Chris Veech
Updated: October 11, 2012

If you've been near Reitz Hill today, you might have noticed evidence of a big game coming up Friday night. With red and yellow spray paint, someone defaced the "R" at Reitz High School and a wall outside the school building. Judging by the vandalism. you might say the vandals were Mater Dei fans. These type of acts usually happen the week leading up to Reitz playing Mater Dei. Evansville police don't have any suspects, but they did discover a truck last night in the school's parking lot with the "MD" sticker on the back.
