The State Lottery Commission of Indiana signs a 15 year agreement with GTECH Indiana. The deal will not only help the Hoosier Lottery improve operations, but will also result in a projected $2 billion gain for the state. GTECH will assume everyday administration of the marketing, sales, distribution, and customer service operations by February of next year. However, the State Lottery Commission will still have control over all significant business decisions and will have the authority to approve GTECH's annual business plan.
