Recycling aluminum cans not only saves energy, and cuts back on litter, it also puts cash in your pocket.

Every year, Alcoa partners up with Keep Evansville Beautiful for the Cans For Cash challenge.  It's a way to get you more involved in recycling, and help out some local non-profits.

For every five pounds of cans you turn in, you can enter your favorite charity into a drawing that could  ultimately win them up 250-dollars.

The cans for cash challenge runs through November 15th, which is National America Recycles Day.

Cans may be dropped off at the following locations:

Material Recycling Inc.

Hours: Mon-Friday: 7a.m.-4p.m.
Saturday: 7:30a.m.-2p.m.
