8 New EPD Officers

There are some new faces on the Evansville police department.
8 new officers were appointed Monday morning at the Centre.
Only seven members showed up for the recruitment ceremeony , the eighth is serving in Iraq.
He was sworn-in prior to his deployment.
Chief Brad Hill welcomed the officers to the force.
He says being a police officer is a unique occupation and it brings with it some unique opportunities and responsibilities.
In addition to the new recruits, 2 officers Joshua Wittmer and Billy Bolin were promoted to sergeant.
