Two Lifeflighted in Henderson County Accident

A head-on collision in Henderson County sends two to the hospital Friday evening.

Henderson County Sheriff's Deputies say Robert Nunnelly of Henderson was traveling northbound on U.S. 41 A around 7:30 Friday night.

They say he was trying to pass another vehicle when he hit Diana Hunt's vehicle head-on.

Deputies say the vehicles rolled down an embankment.

Both drivers had to be extricated and flown to the hospital.

Still no word on their conditions tonight.
