Repaving Work Begins in White County

A stretch of road in White County will be shutting down this week.
Illinois State Police say starting Monday, US Route 45 will be closed from the intersection of 45 and Route 141, to about two miles north of that intersection.
The road will be shut down for the next five days so crews can repave the road.
Police say traffic will be detoured onto Illinois Route 1 and 141 all this week.
