Evansville Man Charged with Assaulting his Girlfriend

An Evansville man is arrested again for allegedly beating up his girlfriend. The victim tells officers 23-year-old Montarious Cheatem grabbed her by the throat and threw her onto the floor. When officers arrived, they found Cheatem outside the house. Back in February, Cheatem was arrested on multiple felony domestic violence charges when he allegedly strangled and battered the same victim. The woman was not hurt in this incident.
