Thoroughbred Tries Running With the Cars

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) -- A horse that got loose from a thoroughbred farm in Lexington tried running with the cars.

And even though it was along a busy highway, WKYT-TV (http://bit.ly/WFYhQk) reports the horse wasn't injured. The animal apparently got loose somehow from Calumet Farm and made its way to New Circle Road, where it ended up running down the middle of the highway for about five miles.

The station reports animal control officers were able to stop the horse, put her into a trailer and take her back home.
