A fashion icon makes a stop in Evansville today. Designer Calvin Klein was at the Victory Theater to present "Lessons from the Runway to Success: Leadership and Building a Global Brand." Klein explained how he became so successful after launching his first clothing line in 1968. Several future designers were in attendance tonight, including a few who traveled four hours to hear the fashion icon speak.

"I'm just really inspired by the creativity he uses," said of Abbey Wilson of West Lafayette, Indiana, "how much effort he puts into his work, and how he went from barely anything to just all of this creations. It's just pretty astounding."

In addition to clothing, Klein has also given his name to a range of perfumes, watches, and jewelry.
