Evansville Man Receives Probation for Deadly Accident

An Evansville man accused of causing a deadly accident will not go back to jail. A judge sentenced John Shofstall to four years of probation. The Posey County Prosecutor says he will serve his sentence under house arrest under the supervision of Posey County Community Corrections. Shofstall is accused of causing Nicholas Imes' death when he crashed into his car in May 2011. Shofstall tested positive for drugs after the crash.
