Overnight Fire Under Investigation in Evansville

Investigators are trying to figure out how an east-side Evansville home caught on fire late Thursday night.
Dispatchers initially got a call of a house on fire near East Chestnut and Audubon around 10p.m. When firefighters arrived, they reported seeing smoke from the side of the building.
Dispatchers say crews put the flames out after an hour and a half.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
