More charges dropped in an Evansville murder case. Harley Wade was charged with murder in connection with the death of Mark Golike, but prosecutors are dropping those charges.
Golike's body was found floating in the Ohio River in June. Two weeks later, Wade and two others were arrested and charged with his murder. Prosecutors say they dropped the charges against Wade because they have sent evidence off for testing, and those tests have not been returned. They say they hit a stumbling block when the judge would not allow evidence of certain comments one of the co-defendants made to police.
Prosecutors earlier dropped charges against Wade's foster sister, Deadra Hurt. Once test results are back, charges may be refiled.
