One Dead in Hopkins County Accident

A Madisonville woman is dead following a one vehicle accident in Hopkins County.
Sheriff's Deputies say they were called to the scene about a mile and a half east of the Edward Breathitt Parkway on Kentucky 138 around 1:30 Sunday afternoon.
When they arrived, the driver, Phillip Bennett was trying to pull his unconscious wife, Linda, out of the car.
Police say the truck ran of the road, hit a concrete barrier and flipped over.
Linda Bennett was pronounced dead at the scene. Phillip was taken to Regional Medical Center.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
