A late night wake-up call for some Evansville residents after their apartment building catches fire.

The call came in at about 11:15 at 1690 East Michigan Street in the Bradford Pointe Apartments.

Firefighters tell us the building was immediately evacuated.  Nobody was hurt in the blaze, and damage was contained to two apartments.

Investigators say nobody was in the downstairs unit and the resident in the upstairs apartment moved out earlier in the day.

A neighbor says he took quick action to make sure no one was in immediate danger, and fire investigators say the cause of the fire appears accidental.
