Posey County Hunter Injured After Fall From Tree

A Posey County hunter is hurt after he falls out of a tree-stand.

Indiana Conservation Officers say Kerry Butler of Mount Vernon had a climber type tree stand on the fish and wildlife property Tuesday night. Butler apparently lost his footing and fell about ten feet, hurting his back and head.

Butler was treated and released from the hospital. Officers say he wasn't wearing a safety harness when he fell.
