A former Kentucky Congressman is locked in one of the most expensive races in Kentucky. Former 1st District Congressman Carroll Hubbard and his opponent are expected to spend $300,000 a piece to win Kentucky's State Senate seat in Murray. The 75-year-old Hubbard is trying to resurrect his political career, which ended in 1992 when he lost his seat in Congress amid the House banking scandal. Hubbard later served two years in prison for violating campaign finance laws.
