Final Jobs Report Before Election Expected on Time Despite Superstorm Sandy

The report could be crucial to the election, as it will be the last look at the health of the country's jobs market before voters head to the polls.
The only time the jobs report has been delayed was in January, 1996, because of a government shutdown over a budget deadlock.
As of last month, the national unemployment rate stood at 7.8%, down from 8.1% in August.
