Kentucky natural gas users may find some relief this Winter. The State Public Service Commission says natural gas costs at the start of this year's heating season are projected to be lower than any time in the last 10 years. The commission estimates customers will likely pay about 12 percent less this November for the average natural gas usage. Nearly half of Kentuckians use natural gas to heat their homes. Propane customers can also expect slightly lower costs this Winter, but those who use electric heat will pay more, along with those who heat their homes with fuel oil.
