Western Kentucky getting a visit from presidential hopeful Sen. Hillary Clinton. Tickets went on sale Thursday morning at the Democratic Headquarters on Main Street in Madisonville. Within the first hour, half the tickets had been sold. Hundreds of local residents lined up to get a ticket, some as early as Wednesday night Sisters Jaime Hallum and Katrina Manrique were the first in line, camping out in lawn chairs. Hallum: "I didnt want to fight the crowd, and knew it would be hectic, so our parents watched our kids, and we said "lets do it"" James Alder drove up from Hopkinsville and arrived at 2:00am. He made a few friends in line while waiting. Alder: "We had a party last night, and we only got a few sprinkles of rain, theres nowhere else Id rather be than here in Madisonville" A few adjustments had to be made when it was announced only cash would be accepted, but it didnt detour those wanting to see Senator Clinton. While most in line were Hillary supporters, a few were not, and some still undecided. Regardless of reason, the Senator will no doubt have a crowd at Madisonville North Hopkins High Saturday at the annual Democratic dinner. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the Democratic Headquarters on Main Street in Madisonville. Clinton is expected to speak at 7:15pm Saturday
