Grains Futures Mostly Rise, Beef Prices Fall

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures mostly rose Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery rose 17 cents to $8.94 a bushel; December corn rose 3.25 cents to $7.4425 a bushel; December oats rose 5.25 cents to $3.6525 a bushel; while January soybeans fell 8.50 cents to $15.07 a bushel.

Beef futures fell, while pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle fell 0.72 cent to $1.2495 a pound; January feeder cattle fell 1.22 cent to $1.4550 a pound; while December lean hogs rose 2.53 cents to 80.10 cents a pound.
