After years of construction, I-69 between Evansville and Crane, Indiana, is a week from opening. USI officials are encouraging people to use the corridor to their advantage.
At a conference in Huntingburg today, Dr. Mark Bernhard gave a presentation highlighting ways to make the interstate a money-maker for small towns like Huntingburg and Jasper. He says they need to focus on education, technology, and diversity.
The stretch of interstate is expected to open next Monday, November 19.
