Northwest Kentucky Forward says goodbye to its leader today. President and CEO Kevin Sheilley is leaving for a job in Florida. Friends and co-workers celebrated Sheilley's time at a ceremony this afternoon in Henderson.

"We have been, considering the economy and everything else that's going on, we've been pretty sucessful," said Sheilley. "We know there are 2,000 jobs here that we've helped be a part of. We've helped existing companies be able to stay here and grow and then we've been able to do a lot with small businesses and helping start them. As we look from this office into downtown Henderson. We see a lot of businesses that our small business effort helped start."

Northwest Kentucky forward works with economic development groups all over western Kentucky, recruiting new businesses and workers.
