Father Charged After Car Carrying Daughter Crashes

According to the Sheriff's Office, 18-year-old Melissa Berkley was a passenger in a car being driven by 21-year-old-Jerry Goodman, Jr. Berkley called 911 to report that they were being chased by her father, 53-year-old Tony Berkley, Senior. During the incident, according to deputies, Goodman's car ran off the road and landed in a pond.
Melissa Berkley was flown to University of Louisville Hospital and Jerry Goodman was flown to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. Both are reported in critical condition.
Tony Berkley, Senior, has been charged with two counts of wanton endangerment. He's being held in the Ohio County Jail on a $50,000 bond. Investigators say Berkley could face additional charges.
