Ow. Catholic Star Signs With Duke

By: Ryan Braschler
Updated: November 20, 2012
Owensboro Catholic High School senior Rebecca Greenwell signed her letter of intent to play college basketball at Duke University on Tuesday.  The signing caps off a long recruiting process dating back to Greenwell's 8th grade year.
The #6 ranked recruit nationally has played varsity basketball for the Lady Aces since 7th grade, and has won two gold medals on USA Basketball's Under 16 and Under 17 teams.
Greenwell says she's 100% healthy after missing her junior year recovering from an ACL tear suffered in the inaugural FIBA 3 on 3 Tournament in Italy in 2011. She says she's more motivated than ever and hopes to prove it throughout her senior season.
