Fatal Crash in Gallatin County, IL

One person is dead after a crash in Gallatin County, Illinois.
Around 8:30 Tuesday morning, Illinois State Police say 25-year-old Michael Travis of Fredonia, Kentucky crossed the center line on Illinois Route 1, just south of Eagle Creek Lane and hit a semi head on.
Travis was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi, Harlan Blazier, was taken to Harrisburg Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
