Muhlenberg County Man Dies in Trailer Fire

Kentucky State Police are investigating the death of an elderly man killed in a Muhlenberg County fire. It happened Friday night just east of Rochester, Kentucky, in the 4800 block of State Route 70 East in Drakesboro. Troopers say that's where an older travel trailer caught on fire. The fire was put out, but investigators say they found 70-year-old Charles Smith dead inside the trailer. Detectives say the fire started inside the trailer and it appeared to be accidental.
