As the Thanksgiving travel weekend wraps up the Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office says the numbers are looking good. The holiday travel season is officially on, and Indiana Law Enforcement is stepping up patrols. Deputies say Wednesday's sobriety checkpoint in Evansville was successful and no DUI arrests were made. Officials also say there have been no fatalities on the roadways during this Thanksgiving travel season. Deputies say DUI arrests have also been down, a trend they hope will continue.
