Updated: December 3, 2012
The Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office and the Evansville Police Department arrest a suspect in a string of recent vehicle thefts.
36-year-old Anthony Ulm is charged with 3 counts of felony theft.
Authorities say Ulm was on work release from Warrick County at the time of his arrest.
Officers say they spotted Ulm breaking into a truck near Christian Fellowship Church on Millersburg Road. Investigators say they followed him to another location where he was seen taking things from another vehicle near Boeke Rd. and the Lloyd Expressway.
Ulm allegedly targeted construction vehicles and cars parked at motels and restaurants.
Detectives are now contacting other law enforcement in the tri-state to see if Ulm may be connected to any other open cases.
