A man faces an attempted murder charge for allegedly attacking his stepmother. The Hopkins County Sheriff's Office says 34-year-old Curtis Brasher used a sharp metal object as a weapon to attack the woman at her Nortonville home Monday afternoon. She underwent emergency surgery Monday night, but is reportedly in stable condition. Brasher was tracked down in Nashville and arrested. We're still not sure what led to the attack. He's not expected to be extradited until next week.
