Man Accused of Threatening Blue Angels Pleads Guilty to Gun Charges

Russell McNeely pleaded guity to charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He will be sentenced on January 23rd.
Police say in June of 2010, McNeely called the Shriners and told them he suffered from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and that he was going to shoot down the Blue Angels if they performed in Evansville.
Officers say they found numerous guns in McNeely's home.
McNeely was never charged with making a threat.
