The U.S. Supreme Court said "no" to a death row inmate from Evansville.
Paul McManus is the man who jumped off the twin bridges in 2002 in an attempt to take his own life.
The jump occurred shortly after he killed his wife and their two daughters.
McManus asked the court to overturn his conviction and sentence, but the high court has refused to hear the case.
His attorney claims McManus is mentally retarded and not eligible for the death penalty.
