UPDATE: The fire has been ruled accidental.  Investigators say it started when sparks from a welding tool ignited grease or oil.

PREVIOUS: A fire on Evansville's east side forces a factory to evacuate, and will have workers going home for the day.

The fire broke out about 10:30 Friday morning at O'Bryan Barrel.  Firefighters say a fire broke out in a machine, but authorities say they were worried about a pit under the machine that was full of various oils.

All the workers were evacuated and are being sent home.  No other buildings were required to evacuate.
