We're learning more about last night's deadly crash on Evansville's south side. Vanderburgh County Coroner Annie Groves confirms the person who died was 49-year-old Carl Fletcher Jr. We do have video of the crash as it happened at Taylor and S. Linwood just before 10:00 p.m. It may be tough for some to watch.

21-year-old Cameron Martin is still in the hospital, his condition isn't being released. Police say neither Martin or Fletcher were wearing seatbelts, and both were ejected from the vehicle as it flipped. We're still not sure who was driving. Witnesses say they saw a third person running away from the accident, but police have not confirmed that. Authorities are still trying to figure out why the driver was going so fast.

"It's just shocking how much that car caused all this damage," said Christina Phillips who witnessed the crash, "and to think that just a couple of days ago my little cousins were out there playing in this yard, and I don't even want to bring them outside anymore."

Neighbors got a much better look at the severe damage when the sun came up. The gashes in this tree are perfect examples.
