It's a deer-licious fundraiser to help feed the hungry.

On Sunday, a venison sampler fundraiser was held at Resurrection Catholic Church in Evansville.  Guests sampled venison dishes like tacos, spaghetti, b-b-q, deer loaf, and chili.

The event benefits the group, "Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry".  Organizers say the money raised will pay for deer processing, and then the deer meat will be given to the hungry.

Planners say you can still help this holiday season, by adopting a deer for 2012.  All you have to do is pay a 70-dollar deer processing fee.

One deer will feed about 2-hundred people.
