First Bricks Fall at Roberts Stadium

The first bricks are falling at Roberts Stadium.
The Klenk Company began the process of tearing down the building Monday morning. The good news for the city is that the demolition is costing a lot less than expected. In fact, the price tag totals about 730 thousand dollars. That's about 200 thousand dollars below the original estimate.
Once the project is complete, the plan is to build a park on the land. Demolition should wrap up in the Spring.
