Santa Claus, Indiana Named Top 10 Christmas Destinations in the World

By: Chris Veech
Updated: December 11, 2012

Not only is Santa Claus, Indiana, popular for us here in the Tri-State, it's now being named one of the top ten Christmas destinations in the world. Hotwire.com credits the town's three weekends of Christmas celebrations, a wooden roller coaster, and the Christmas-themed miniature golf course for the ranking. A spokesperson from Spencer County's Visitors Bureau says its an honor to make the list since they celebrate the season 365 days a year.

And just to give you an idea of a few other destinations on the top ten list: Puerto Rico, New York City, Bondi Beach, Australia, Amsterdam, and Aspen, Colorado are all on that same list as Santa Claus, Indiana.
