Tony Bennett Selected as Florida's Education Commissioner

Indiana's recently ousted state school superintendent has a new job in Florida. The State Board of Education selected Dr. Tony Bennett as the state's new Education Commissioner. Bennett was chosen over Murray State University President Randy Dunn and Arlington, Virginia Education Consultant Charles Hokanson. Bennett led efforts in Indiana to adopt many of the accountability changes pioneered by Florida.
