A Posey County school is honoring one of its own, and a special guest joins in on the festivities. 2009 Miss America Katie Stam stopped by North Elementary in Poseyville today. The ceremony is for teacher Donna Nash, who is set to retire on December 31. Nash is recognized for her philanthropic vision and leadership, teaching kids to give back to others. To date, North Elementary has raised more than $14,000 for the Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University. Nash received artwork from a Riley Hospital patient.
